GWS has a long history of innovation that dates back to 1958, when we developed some of China’s earliest climatic test chambers, including humidity chambers, salt fog chambers, and industrial gas chambers. From 1995 to 2012, we partnered in a 17-year joint venture with ESPEC Environmental Instruments to combine expertise and expand capabilities. In November 2012, GWS acquired the remaining 50% share of the joint venture, reestablished full ownership, and introduced the “GWS” brand as our new identity.

In March, Guangzhou Sairui Testing Equipment Co., Ltd. (CEPREI), was established to focus on developing and producing electrical and mechanical stress life testing systems for electronic components.
Developed and released a dual-axis turntable chamber for combined temperature and motion testing.
Completed a chamber integrating temperature, humidity, light exposure, salt spray, and vibration; received the “Independent Innovation Gold Award.”
Zengcheng factory started operations; annual sales surpassed RMB 400 million.
In June, GWS Test Instrument (Suzhou) Co., Ltd. was officially opened, marking the company’s entry into the field of mechanical testing equipment.
Annual sales exceeded RMB 500 million; recognized as a national-level “Little Giant” specialized and innovative enterprise.
Named a Guangdong Provincial Manufacturing Champion and a national key “Little Giant” enterprise.
